How do I get my Raspberry Pi Camera Module up and running?

Firstly make sure that the SD card being used contains the latest Debian Raspberry Pi operating system. To check this, visit Raspberry Pi Downloads where the latest version is listed and available for download. For further instructions on how to upload the latest operating system, please visit

Secondly, connect the Raspberry Pi Camera Module to the Raspberry Pi Board by inserting the flex cable in to the connector situated between the Ethernet and HDMI ports with the silver connectors facing the HDMI port.
